The Tower Access & Rescue Workshop 1 is an intensive "open enrollment" program designed specifically for small work crews who work (or train others to work) at elevation:
- Tower or structural workers (small crew of less than three)
- Tower erectors / steel erectors (small crew of less than three)
- Working power transmission linemen (small crew of less than three)
- Trainers
Beginning tower worker rope access and rescue training workshop designed for working employees of tower company or utility (linemen or tower erectors). This hands-on 3 day contract workshop contains training modules on safety; two-point principles; structural rescue management for tower workers; patient assessment; first responder first aid at elevation; simple knotcraft used for life safety work; life safety rope & equipment management; equipment usage; inspection and care; first climber fall arrest. Emphasis on patient care once the patient is on the ground.See key points below.
